Julien Waeber is a graduate of the universities of Geneva and Bern Law Schools.
He practised as litigator for two years in ZPG law firm, Geneva. He then took the bar exam (third best mark rank).
Afterwards, he chose to practise with a top business law firm and gained broad experience over almost five years in Borel & Barbey.
For several months he has acted as secondee in the legal & compliance department of an important international bank in Geneva.
These numerous experiences led him to set up JANIN WAEBER MAITRE.
Julien Waeber acts as legal counsel and supports his clients in setting up and ruling their company in every steps, in partucular mergers & acquisitions and including towards regulation authorities. He advises and defends on a daily basis corporations, their directors and officers as well as shareholders. He also represents his clients before the courts in civil matters, including before the employment courts.
Moreover, he has a keen interest in sports, media and art laws.
He is a member of various associations such as the Geneva Bar Association, the Geneva Association of Business Lawyers, the Swiss Federation of Lawyers, the Art Law Centre and the Association of International Business Lawyers in which he is treasurer.
